Grande successo per il concerto di Ivan Lins, ieri sera allo Steri, a Palermo, per la quinta edizione di Ecovision, festival internazionale di ambiente e cinema. Il musicista e compositore carioca ha stregato al piano il pubblico palermitano con i suoi cavalli di battaglia più famosi. Il concerto si è tenuto a pochi passi dal più grande albero esotico d'Europa, un Ficus magnolioides alto 25 metri. Al termine del concerto, Lins è stato acclamato per tre minuti dal pubblico, che ha invano richiesto un bis. Lins ha immediatamente sposato la causa di Ecovision festival, che quest'anno si terrà anche in Brasile, a Fortaleza, dal 18 al 24 luglio.
Great success for the Ivan Lins' performance last night at Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri in Palermo, for the fifth edition of EcoVision, International Festival of Environment and Cinema. The carioca musician and composer has enchanted with the piano the Italian public with his most famous hobbyhorses. The performance has taken place a few steps from the biggest exotic tree of Europe, a Ficus magnolioides of 25 meters. At the end of the performance, Lins has been acclaimed for three minutes by the audience which invain has requested the bis. His first effort "Madalena" was recorded by Elis Regina in 1970 but it became more famous with the version sung by Simone Bittencourt de Oliveira. Lins has lately participated to the realization of a song "Wonderful Tonight" together with Michael Bublè. Lins has instantly espoused the EcoVision Festival's cause that this year will take place in Brazil too, in Fortaleza, from 18th to 24th of July.
